Biminis Fire

tinyurl.com/3d6v57 VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - "You can see the smoke rising from the Westside all over town. A popular Vancouver pub, Bimini's Tap House on West 4th, is on fire. It's a three alarm fire, and a big portion of Bimini's roof is still burning. It's drawing a big crowd at the street level. Fire crews are still busy trying to get in part of the building. This is a popular gathering place, and a big part of local history, and of the environmental movement. Bimini's pub is considered almost the birthplace of Greenpeace. The founders of the organization originally had a small office across the street. There is no word yet on what has caused the fire or if there are any injuries. 4th Avenue is blocked between Arbutus and Burrard, and there is still a lot of smoke billowing out over the Westside."
